Ms. Laura Stephenson

Laura is a Senior Lecturer in Film at the University of Westminster. Originally training as an editor for film post-production in New Zealand, Laura went on to post-graduate study where she specialized in gender theory at Honours and Masters level while her Doctoral work examined cinematic suffering through a psychoanalytic lens. Her work in screen-industries gender equality within university curriculums has been recognized by several teaching awards including a nomination for the Times Higher Education ‘Most Innovative Lecturer’.
